(Poem)

What if it were so?

Md. Sadiqur Rahman Rumen

All the distance that kept us apart would magically disappear! In the empty space beside you, I wish I could be the companion of your loneliness!

If we're under the same blanket on a cold night,
We could turn to each other and whisper.
Our warm breath would touch each other!

My whole body trembled at the touch of your rosy lips,
I would be drunk without alcohol!
Beneath my chest,
you are a cotton pillow or a velvet bed, the love of both! In the primordial dance of the night, you become the dancer Urvashi,
I was Nataraj!
Then tired and exhausted, sleep in the close embrace of peace!
