To Face It Again
By James Tian
As we face it again,
The memories flood our mind,
Lost in the echoes of the past,
And searching for a sign.
The curtain falls on yesterday's dreams,
But in my heart,
Human Nature in sense is still gleams.
To face it again,
To see people walk on the old road alone,
Like in the silence of the night,
I hear the historical regretful tone.
Trying to escape the shadows of the past,
But perhaps the peace lingers,
Forever it will be last.
The light shines on the path ahead,
Guiding us through the tears we’ve shed.
Each moment a bittersweet reminder,
Of the big love so pure,
A bond that's kinder.
To face it again,
To embrace what's gone,
In the depths of our soul,
Hope that memory of harmony lives on.
Though time may pass and seasons change,
Our love for peace will always remain.
In the stillness of the night,
I can feel the presence near,
Whispers of reason,
Chasing away my fear.
A heart that's shackled,
Yet yearning to be free,
In the dance of life,
We have the same melody to meet.
To face it again,
To hold the beauty close,
In the symphony of our world,
We’re the ones who chose.
Life's like a bottle of wine,
Aging with grace,
Only in the calmness of soul,
We can find our place.
So here we are,
Facing it again,
With the respect of each other as our guide,
We’ll transcend.
In the shadows of the past,
Maybe we should find our light…
With clear sight by our side,
I think everything will be right.
