The SAG Awards, also known as the Screen Actors Guild Awards, managed to hold on as scheduled after the Los Angeles area was rocked by wildfires last month, which affected several awards ceremonies, film and theater performances.
After completing all the preparations for the show that will start in a few minutes, the stars began to arrive to take pictures before heading to the Shrine Auditorium & Expo Hall in Los Angeles, California, where the concert events will be held. SAG Awards Stars

Kristen Bell to host 2025 SAG Awards
The SAG Awards traditionally went without a host until Kristen Bell took the job for the 24th edition in 2018; Megan Mullally hosted the event in 2019. The SAG Awards went back to their host-less format after that, but Kristen Bell — who stars in the hit comedy Nobody Wants This — has been tapped to host the ceremony for her second time.
“I am thrilled to be hosting the SAG Awards again this year,” Bell said in a statement. “I am honored to be invited back and can’t wait to share the evening with my fellow actors, do what we do best… and celebrate ourselves.”

Julia Louis-Dreyfus to Present Lifetime Achievement Award
Julia Louis-Dreyfus will present the SAG Lifetime Achievement Award to two-time Academy Award-winning actress, producer, author and activist Jane Fonda, the highest honor from SAG-AFTRA (Screen Actors Guild-American Federation of Television and Radio Artists). The iconic actress and activist will be the 60th recipient of the award.
“Jane Fonda is a trailblazer and an extraordinary talent; a dynamic force who shaped the landscape of entertainment, advocacy and culture with unwavering passion,” said SAG-AFTRA President Fran Drescher, announcing the award Thursday morning. “We honor Jane not only for her artistic brilliance but for the profound legacy of activism and empowerment she has created. Her courageous honesty has been an inspiration to me and so many others in our industry.”
Fonda's honor comes after Barbra Streisand received the award in 2023, Sally Field in 2022, and Helen Mirren in 2021. You may want to know about Jane Fonda's Lifetime Achievement Honor at the 2025 SAG Awards
