Muhammad Ishaq Abbasi "A Hoopoe"

The weather was pleasant after the rain,
A waterfall looked like a fountain.
There were trees around the waterfall,
Some of them were small and some of tall,
On twig I saw a beautiful hoopoe,
In his heart,there was no any woe.
I found him very serious and wise,
Ate fruit, vegetables,sweet and rice.
His beak was long,eyes were attractive,
Looked very intelligent and active.
On his head was a golden crown,
From morn to eve,flew up and down.
Considered the whole world as his home,
Built his nest on any tree or dome.
Spoke with great argument and eloquence،
Waited his turn and displayed tolerance.
Conveyed the message of one king to another .
Obeyed the orders of his boss, father and mother.
He was considering the world as temporary.
He liked to walk with contemporary .
