 AGEING

AGEING

Blooming, lotus desires

Sun to come close and pat its cheek.

Rowing, wave desires

Land to come close and caress.

Blowing, fire desires

Cloud to come close and wick.

Dancing, shadow desires

Light to come close and merge.

Singing, bamboo desires

Madhav to come close and kiss.

Marrying, couple desires

Children to be born and love, get loved.

Aging, parents desires

All orphanages to shut close,

So that their own children

Won't usher them into,

In pursuit of their own desires.

Because,

Children are difference makers,

And different are what they all desire!
