"Simple Reasoning" Poem by James Tian

 Simple Reasoning

Because we’re a kind of “Animal”,

So everyone is selfish;

Because of this,

So "Dictatorship" and "Democracy",

Both "Loyalty" and "Betrayal",

Should be understood anyway.

However, 

Because we’re always "Selfish",

Thinking that other people's "Tragedies",

Have nothing to do with ourselves,

So regardless of "Bondage" and "Freedom",

The "Choices" are all made out of selfishness.

If someone else's "Tragedies",

You’ll not sympathize and rescue,

So you,

It’s a more bigger "Tragedy".

The state of this world,

Is it really hard to judge?

It's actually very easy,

It's just that everyone's starting point is in different ways.

But it's all for everyone’s own "Selfishness".

So,

Every time when human beings,

Need to make a choice,

Different voices,

Let the status quo that should be easy to deal with,

Become noisy.

But when "Tragedies",

Is no longer limited,

And when they spread widely,

The balance of "Selfishness",

Will be broken finally.

Then everyone found out:

In fact, 

These troubles have always been easy to solve,

We could have avoided,

Such"Tragedies" from happening...

I've seen the hardest thing in this planet,

It's not about making decisions,

It's about making choices!

The human world,

Some absurdity is very obvious,

Some errors are also very transparent,

It's just that everyone's "Selfishness" ,

Is heading in a different directions,

So the "Obvious" direction,

Will get very very shadowy!
