My heart is still alive after a lot of bleeding,
a lot of jostling amidst the crowd of thorny moments,
& a lot of juggling through the passing hands.
It still opens its eyes to make the reveries
turn into a reality;
the reveries with an ounce of care,
a drop of love, passion & genuinity,
& a pinch of vibrant hues beautifully wrapped in a
cellophane paper of alluring possibilities.
But, reaching destination seems like surreal,
in this society of patriarchal dominance &
obnoxious misogyny,
nobody pays a sincere heed to the women of their words;
Suppressing women’s dreams, clogging their panels,
trampling them down under the soles of shoes,
& breaking them to million pieces to feed their ego
has been a piece of cake to this orthodox society.
Still, the little girls like rosebuds remain undying in the abode of perilous insects,
still they sing the euphonious ballad smearing the cacophonous trepidations,
& still their eyes twinkles & blinks with the desires of touching the sky high.
The thirst of a parched soul,or,the petrichors after a heavy rain or, the chant of a swarm of birds, & the ecstatical glee of rumbling leaves,
every related thing jump up & dictate the speech of motivation,
& i never let my heavy lidded eyes shut down without interpreting the signs of nature.
Destinations seem too tough to reach,
grabbing the tunnels of our passion are too serpentine to cross them,
& loving your soul is a matter of totems & myths.
Still, i believe one day women will be free to choose their path,
they will break the barriers of ancient stereotypes & prejudices,
& their dreams will be free to fly, not bound in the slavery of cleaning utensils & handling home.
They will say with a glistening smile & heads held high,
“Dreams, you are not tough & it’s the right time to fly!”

◾A SECLUDED BUS◾
Now that I am hanging around a bus stand,
I see a bus, heavily secluded standing alone,
As alone as someone has snatched all its happiness.
I am stagnant at a point,
Halting to notice the bus carefully
I try to avoid the rampage of people,
The exaggerated noises of tea stalls,
The gatherings of frustrated people,
And all the motions coming to distract my stillness.
I take a step forward,
Not knowing what's going to happen next,
I boarded now on the bus,
It's calm because it's abandoned now.
I feel the beauty of letting go,
The smell of sacrifice tempts me.
How easily it has pardoned for all its losses,
Like a mother does to her son's sins.
I feel an intense connection,
A lesson of forgiveness I learnt,
A touch of serenity I found
And a tip of little compassion I loved.
Not all the things we see
Are evergreen forever,
All we need to hold
Is our power of forgiveness,
Compassion, love and patience.
A secluded bus,
Which seemed secluded, alone and abandoned
Was truly not those.
It carries a lot of virtues
That touched its golden tip on my skin.
Happy me, noted the notions of life,
And passing by the bus stand
Crossing among all the uncertainty
And tensed thoughts the place supplies.

◾WINDOW◾
The world outside my window
cascades through the stories of nature.
The wide open sky cwtching the entity of this world with its lapis-lazuli vibrance,
the birds homing the furnished wings somersaults high above the clouds,
and the trees greening hearts more than the eyes.
There are a lot to watch above but all we are stuck with are the ransacked stories beneath.
A widow sobbing for the sake of her husband,
an ambitious mother shouting on her innocent child to top in the next exam,
some random hawkers sweating out their hardships in the strenchant april sun,
some homes weaving the fantasies of a satisfied family
and some homes are crispy with broken cracks like the creaking window panes.
Windows unfold different stories if we care to peep the through the holes and a whole new diversified world
uncoils in front of our eyes.
Windows are like bookmarked pages we leave to read carefully when our hands are crammed with ample amounts of time.
A defiant heart, inquisitive soul and restless mind
are all that a window needs to flourish vastness.
Windows encapsulate an entire universe in a pirouetting stroke,
where some stories gasp fast, some lose heartbeats, some proudly glow, some turn into fairytales and some leave the mundane smoke.
