Two poems of SharmilaPoudel - Poet from Nepal

MOTHER

What a lovely word mother
Nor can it be compared with anyone
Cannot be exchanged with anyone
What a sweet word mother

Mother to be the symbol of the goddess
Endure all your sorrows
Always worried about the family
A mother who forgets in the love of her child
A mother who blooms like a flowers
What a sacred word mother

A mother lives for her children
Mother keeps the pain in her heart
To make children happy
Mother smiles in front of everyone
What a warm word mother.

Mother is the pupil of the eye
Even though we are far from mother
Don’t forget your mother wherever you go
How fair is the word, mother

This earth is empty without a mother
Who gives advice without a mother?
Always take refuge in the mother
Lets always respect mother
What a respectful word mother

STRUGGLE

From the womb of the mother, it starts
To the last breathe one takes
Struggles to be good and successful
Persons never ends
One chapter closes, the other
one begins

Beginning to the end of life
Into uncountable struggles, one has to dive
Either young or old, poor or rich, animals or trees
All have to face it

Passing through struggles are difficult and painful
Worth it is those morals we get to be patience
and hopeful
Struggles, the part of everyone's life
Teaches us the meaning of real delight.
