Poetry
Yatti Sadeli
MY FACE NOW
When dusk slowly steps
And the sky changes color
I open my eyelids
I reflect in the clear water
Feels like dreaming
I know my appearance in taste
My brain is racing with questions
O my wrinkled appearance eroded by age,
When it dries it is no longer pretty and beautiful
Taken away by the passage of time
It's like something is missing when a ray of sadness forms a feeling that ensnares the heart
Don't you think?
Death will greet you soon
I hope it goes down slowly
like snow falling to the earth
I looked up
The sky is blue and the clouds are floating
As if watching the passage of time
which cannot be avoided
As well as
Old age, slowly but surely will come too
Behind the clouds, the sun smiled gently
Like solace for a restless heart
Gives me confidence that death will come without needing to be afraid of it.
