Title: Memory of Father's House
Name: Dr. Debabrata Maji
Country: India
No lumber no mortar no visible frame
The Memory House still whispers his name;
It stands in the heart as in the quiet inside
A sanctuary where his spirit can hide.
The porch is his laughter with sound light and free
The windows are memories that are as clear as can be;
Each pane holds a moment may a story at a glance
The wisdom he shared may be like a beautiful dance.
The swing on the porch still rocks with his grace
As he tells of the hardships he faced at such pace;
The garden in his kindness has a nurturing hand
That planted the strength to help us all stand.
The doorway where he'd greet us with a smile
A place to feel welcome to stay for a while;
The roof in his protection has a steadfast embrace
That kept us from sorrow in time and in place.
Though the house he once lived in has long turned to dust
This memory is built home as we eternally trust;
It's open to storms but the spirit remains
In the Memory House have love forever sustained.
