Bio

Rebeca is a multidisciplinary artist based in Lima, Peru.

She expresses in drawing, painting, sculpture, printmaking, poetry, and integrating languages. She studied Art in Lima, Peru, where she is from. Her Alma Mater is Universidad Nacional Mayor de San Marcos, her main is History of Art. Then, she specialized in Art therapy and Education through arts. In Visual Arts, her main focus is printmaking. Rebeca's artworks are multi-verses, where she shapes emotions, often linked to epiphanies from the spiritual world.

This artwork was inspired by a memory about my sister as morher, with her first baby, Giacomo. Now, he is a young man, a kind person, a little bit as the angel with wings hiden. And today, the day of this "poems + illustration match", Sptember the 7th, is his birthday.

Angels

One day an angel came to earth

He saw the faces of humans

He become one of them

He saw the body of humans

He created onebody

He even walk like them

But the big problem was the wings

Where the humans hide their wings??

Mama

Mother is the doctor for any sickness

Mama is the country that everyone loves

without conquering

Mama is joy and sorrow Mama the power

Mama the forgiveness

One word was created by God To forgive people

Say it every day

Call her if they put chains on you

To sweeten it the wound

To bring peace

My mom, you're unique

You never told them you were upset With gold I will cherish you

Chosen person

I crown you My mother

My sun

My compass
